var isApple = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().indexOf('iphone') > 0 ||  navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().indexOf('ipad') > 0;
Detect Android:
Code: [Select]
var isAndroid = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase().indexOf('android') > 0;

Domain Names / Redirecting a Domain
« on: October 10, 2011, 09:17:08 AM »
Hey, I was wondering if it's possible for me to redirect a domain to a website and when someone uses the domain that redirects, the color scheme of the website changes (to dark)? So both domains go to the same website, just one uses a lite color scheme and the other uses a dark.

Is this possible?

Sorry my wording makes it sound confusing, I seem to be experiencing stoned like qualities due to sleep deprivation...

Google / Your experience from trying out Google+
« on: July 04, 2011, 06:48:24 AM »
okay, I've just spent 30 minutes on Google Plus and I have to say I'm impressed. posting pictures, adding comments, following friends are just simple and yet extremely effective. Especially the notification button, it does everything in an instant, you don't have to click on it and work your way to the main page to post. It makes fb is like the website of the 90s. My internet is currently on restricted speed but Google+ is just so fast and I can't complain anything about it.

The only thing I had little problem on Google+ was getting used to it, it was a bit quite difficult to navigate around but considering 30 mins to know your way is not too bad.

Simple Tweaking and also works with Windows 2003...

NOTE: I only recommend doing this if you have 256mb of RAM or higher.

STEP 1: Start > Run > then type SYSEDIT.EXE

STEP 2: Expand the system.ini file window.

STEP 3: Scroll down almost to the end of the file till you find a line called [386enh]

STEP 4: Press Enter to make one blank line, and in that line type

NOTE: The above info for the new line is CASE SENSITIVE

STEP 5: Select File > Save

STEP 6: Close SYSEDIT and reboot your computer

Google / Google launches Knol, Wikipedia competition
« on: July 24, 2008, 10:16:09 AM »
Google opened its website Knol to the public on Wednesday, allowing people to write about their areas of expertise under their bylines in a twist on encyclopedia Wikipedia, which allows anonymity. “We are deeply convinced that authorship — knowing who wrote what — helps readers trust the content,” said Cedric DuPont, product manager for Knol. The name of the service is a play on an individual unit of knowledge, DuPont said, and entries on the public website,, are called “knols.” Google conducted a limited test of the site beginning in December. Knol has publishing tools similar to single blog pages. But unlike blogs, Knol encourages writers to reduce what they know about a topic to a single page that is not chronologically updated.

“What we want to get away from is ‘this last voice wins’ model which is very difficult if you are a busy professional,” DuPont said. Google wants to rank entries by popularity to encourage competition. For example, the first knol on “Type 1 Diabetes” is by Anne Peters, director of the University of Southern California’s Clinical Diabetes Programs. As other writers publish on diabetes, Google plans to rank related pages according to user ratings, reviews and how often people refer to specific pages, DuPont said. Knol focuses on individual authors or groups of authors in contrast to Wikipedia’s subject entries, which are updated by users and edited behind the scenes. DuPont said that rather than competing with Wikipedia, Knol may end up serving as a primary source of authoritative information for use with Wikipedia articles.Google launches Knol, Wikipedia competition
