Link from an established web or Meta directory (like Yahoo! and hundreds of others).

If in public-available web content, have at least 100 words of relevant content surrounding each link (the more relevant the text quality and quantity - the better!)

Use natural keywords that flow as anchor text - NOT robotic phrases that nobody ever really searches for.

Be sure to surround your links with other relevant (but non-targeted) search terms. This is part of Latent Semantic Indexing and VERY important!

.       Keep your links in the actual BODY of the page, not the sidelines. Thanks for posting

Natural links are inbound links that site owners didnít intentionally create as part of their link building campaign. Natural link building is a positive product of all the rest of the SEO and online marketing work that you do like social media marketing, online PR, content marketing and more. People find and link to your content because itís great content, not because you went out looking for links!

Hi..The link building component of your SEO strategy can be the most important, as well as the most difficult and time consuming, task that you undertake.

A firm foundation of quality links will help you achieve your goals, unless you're already a large brand and have tons of natural links.

For many SEO companies and individuals, the solution is simple: buy links. And, as many already know, this is expressly prohibited in Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

I won't lie. I've seen paid links work and deliver results more often than I've seen them hurt a company.

I saw one Web site go from basically "nowhere" in the rankings to top rankings for some highly competitive keywords within three months (from 600 organic visitors per month to more than 8,000 organic visitors per month) because they spent approximately $1,500 per month on paid links. Within one year, they had more than 80,000 visitors from organic search per month. And, they had little help from their domain name, which didn't include their keywords.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results.  :D

You can place natural links on your website that are related to your niche but not your competitors.

links that are created naturally without the website owner having to go and generate them either through guest posting, or other forms of link building practices.

In simple words, natural links happen when other webmasters, bloggers or website owners link to your content (blogs, images, products, videos etc) because they think is useful for their readers and adds value to their websites or pages.
