Hello Friends..........

Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors.

Thanks

Hello,Bounce rate is a term used in web site traffic  analysis. It essentially represents the percentage of initial visitors to a site who "bounce" away to a different site.

I want to mention one more important fact about Google bounce rate - remember that you can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy.

When a user reaches to a page of website and after that he leaves the site without any further browsing of that website then it creates the bounce rate.

To get straight to your burning question - Bounce rate does not influence rankings! The mistake seems to be in your SEO work but without detailed information, it will be hard (impossible) for an "outsider" to find the reason.

Concerning your "high" bounce rate, there are a lot of different possible reasons.

1. Wrong targeted SE rankings
2. People find on your home page what they searched for (no need to go on)
3. Major design or content mistakes which make people leave

Hello,
Bounce rate is an interesting and increasingly important metric for measuring web site reach and often it is the keyword/landing page combination that is a major contributing factor.

Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who land on a particular page, then leave the site on the same page. Bounce rate keeps on fluctuating on the basis of visitors visiting and leaving the site.

When a user reaches to a page of website and after that he leaves the site without any further browsing of that website then it creates the bounce rate. Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance. Use this parameter to measure the quality of visits, a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages are not relevant to your visitors.
