Hi...The prerequisites for the tutorial are:

HTML.  You should be able to put together HTML pages.
Java.  You should be able to program in Java.

This tutorial teaches JSP by progressing from very simple examples to complex examples.

Advanced learners may want to do a quick review of the introductory material and skip to the lessons appropriate to their level.

Hi....According to Carleton, president of Local Business Marketing Success, "Not having a totally integrated Website and Internet Marketing strategy will cost small business owners sales and profits day after day, year after year. Many small business owners spend the majority of their time and budget trying to direct people to their store or office forgetting that most consumers research their products and services on the Internet first. But if a business isn't on page one of Google, it is unlikely that their website, hence their business will ever be found. And if people can't find a business, they can't buy from them either…it’s that simple."

"To make matters worse, take a look at all the time money and resources business owners spend creating beautiful websites that many of your their potential clients and customers will never see," continued Carleton. "It is for that reason, that I created the totally integrated internet marketing approach."

Link Development / Re: Natural Link Building

Hi..The link building component of your SEO strategy can be the most important, as well as the most difficult and time consuming, task that you undertake.

A firm foundation of quality links will help you achieve your goals, unless you're already a large brand and have tons of natural links.

For many SEO companies and individuals, the solution is simple: buy links. And, as many already know, this is expressly prohibited in Google's Webmaster Guidelines.

I won't lie. I've seen paid links work and deliver results more often than I've seen them hurt a company.

I saw one Web site go from basically "nowhere" in the rankings to top rankings for some highly competitive keywords within three months (from 600 organic visitors per month to more than 8,000 organic visitors per month) because they spent approximately $1,500 per month on paid links. Within one year, they had more than 80,000 visitors from organic search per month. And, they had little help from their domain name, which didn't include their keywords.

Search Engine Optimization / Re: Google PR updation

Hi...The forecasts predicted by the online community had predicted a page rank update in the month of June. However, this has not happened.

It is expected to happen shortly, yet some of the reasons for this delay have been attributed to the Google algorithm updates Panda and Penguin 2.0.  This could be a good explanation for this delay, in order to attribute to websites a more accurate Page Rank. If Google penalises websites and drops their rankings, due to low quality content and an unnatural and irrelevant link profile, they will be able to more accurately assign the rightful page rank every website deserves.

It has also been argued that Google will get rid of the Page Rank all together, in order to reduce the amount of spam, and therefore only websites with quality and relevant content will rank in the SERP’s.

So far there it has not been confirmed when this update will be taken place. However, it seems unlikely to think that Google will dispose of it, as it has been their trade mark for all this years, and it is a widespread measure for webmasters at the point of determining which websites are worth making friends with.

Google / Re: How Google Algorithm Work?
« on: July 24, 2013, 10:15:28 PM »
Hi...PigeonRank's success relies primarily on the superior trainability of the domestic pigeon (Columba livia) and its unique capacity to recognize objects regardless of spatial orientation. The common gray pigeon can easily distinguish among items displaying only the minutest differences, an ability that enables it to select relevant web sites from among thousands of similar pages.

By collecting flocks of pigeons in dense clusters, Google is able to process search queries at speeds superior to traditional search engines, which typically rely on birds of prey, brooding hens or slow-moving waterfowl to do their relevance rankings.

diagramWhen a search query is submitted to Google, it is routed to a data coop where monitors flash result pages at blazing speeds. When a relevant result is observed by one of the pigeons in the cluster, it strikes a rubber-coated steel bar with its beak, which assigns the page a PigeonRank value of one. For each peck, the PigeonRank increases. Those pages receiving the most pecks, are returned at the top of the user's results page with the other results displayed in pecking order.

PageRank is an algorithm that allots numerical weights to each element of the internet. Higher the rank on Google PageRank, higher will be the appearance of a particular website in the search results. PageRank is a registered trademark of Google and the algorithm has also been patented. It takes into account votes for a particular page and rates them according to the importance of the vote.

Hi..A mobile-friendly web site is a version of a website that is optimized for viewing on a small screen such as a PDA. While full HTML browsers on some handheld devices let you view full-fledged websites, viewing a simplified version of that same site on your PDA can be useful because the pages load more quickly and are easier to view on a small screen.

Microsoft / Re: Why is it always Microsoft?
« on: July 23, 2013, 10:31:30 PM »
Hi.. Last weekend Xbox Live experienced issues for around 10 hours, preventing some users from signing into the service, downloading content, using web-based entertainment apps, playing online with their friends and, in the case Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, saving their progress. A relatively rare occurrence, it was nevertheless a giant pain in the ass.

But imagine if the outage had prevented users from doing anything with their consoles. Imagine if it stopped you playing games of any type, in any capacity and for any reason. If the rumours are to be believed, that’s the future we could face with Microsoft’s next console.

For the past year or so the internet has been alight with talk that the next Xbox will be ‘always-online’, necessitating a permanent internet connection in order to play games. If your connection fails for more than three minutes, say the rumours, for whatever reason, your game will be shut down.
